Mozy and Outlook pst file size

A client in Encinitas called me to fix their Mozy online backup.  It failed in an unknown manner, but I ultimately found that the Outlook file had been cleaned and rearranged to an extreme level and the size of the outlook file needed to be corrected by compacting it though Outlook.  Outlook does a poor job of this and it needs to be done manually by the user.  If Outlook thinks the file is 1.5 Gb but the actual size of the file in Windows Explorer is 2.2 GB, Mozy will fail in backing it up.  We did find that even though Mozy was spitting out an error, every other file other than the PST on the rest of the computer was being successfully backed up.
