Eset NOD32 vs. Outlook 2010 and 2013 IMAP email problem with port 993 SSL

A number of times now I have had issues with ESET and Outlook. Outlook 2013 and even the basic Nod32 email plug-ins are a problematic match. I have tried and failed to make those two programs happy. Yesterday, I had a major battle on a computer in San Diego needing to do a simple email check via gmail IMAP. The PC had Eset Smart Security version 5 and no matter what I did, no Gmail IMAP accounts would function on SSL post 993. After many futile attempts at trying just about everything, including disabling the ESET plugins and also disabling the ESET firewall, it still would fail. Lesson to be learned here is that if you think you are having a firewall issue, it's often required to completely uninstall the firewall software. Disabling it, just isn't good enough.

Dell HDMI port with VGA port supports dual Monitors

I have seen more and more of these lately and I have confirmed that it will run a VGA monitor and an HDMI monitor running 1920x1080 on both as a dual display. Luckily for the computer I had in San Diego, I had an HDMI to DVI cable to make it happen. I'm not sure if this will support a high frame rate, but for a simple dual monitor setup on a basic $600 Dell Inspiron desktop, this works fine.
